Childcare centre cleaning in Sydney

After the last pickup, the centre is cleaned to a written scope rather than to memory: play rooms, mats, sleep areas, bathrooms, kitchens and high touch points. Castle Cleans runs childcare cleaning for early learning centres across Sydney, with the same police checked cleaners each visit.

How childcare centre cleaning pricing works

Pricing follows the number of rooms, the licensed places the centre holds and how often it needs servicing. Most centres run nightly, because a room used by thirty children today has to be ready for thirty more tomorrow. We walk the centre and price what is there.

Common childcare cleaning schedules. Most centres run nightly; the detail is settled at the site visit.
Frequency Typically suits What a visit covers
Nightly, after pickup Long day care centres and preschools running a full week Full scope after the last pickup, including play rooms, mats, bathrooms, kitchen and bins
Five days a week Centres with a set weekly roster and a quieter Friday Full scope on each operating day, with the kitchen and bathrooms serviced every visit
Two or three times a week Sessional preschools and part week programs Full scope on operating days, with bins and amenities kept on top of between visits
Periodic Any centre, alongside one of the schedules above Carpet steam cleaning, internal and external glass, and detailed play equipment work

How we keep it consistent

Consistency is built into the system, not left to chance. This is the part most cleaning companies leave to whoever is rostered on.

  • A written scope, per site

Every area and task is listed and given a frequency, so every cleaner works the same checklist and nothing depends on memory.

  • Quality checks and management oversight

We review performance and address issues before they escalate, so you are never chasing cleaners or re-explaining expectations.

  • Then you set and forget

We schedule the first clean and brief your cleaner on the scope. Management checks the work, adjusts as the site changes and handles requests. It runs without you.

What is included in a childcare centre clean

This is the standard scope for an early learning site. Anything specific to your centre, including any product your service is required to use, is written into the scope at the site visit and then happens every visit.

An early learning play room, reset after pickup
  • Play rooms, activity areas and mats
  • Sleep and rest areas
  • Children's bathrooms, nappy change areas and hand basins
  • Kitchen, bottle prep and food service areas
  • High touch points, including door handles, gates, rails and light switches
  • Staff room, office and adult amenities
  • Entry, foyer, sign in area and corridors
  • Internal glass and mirrors
  • Rubbish and waste removal, and consumables replenished

Outdoor play areas and shade structures can be added to the scope. Tell us at the site visit and they are priced in rather than squeezed in.

What our clients say

Georgia B. Google review
The level of care and attention to detail

Cannot recommend Ryan and his team enough. Fast, reliable and friendly. Communication was great throughout the entire process, and I could not believe the level of care taken and the attention to detail.

Frequently asked questions

How much does childcare centre cleaning cost?

It depends on the number of rooms, the licensed places the centre holds and the servicing frequency. We confirm the rate after a walkthrough after pickup, so you pay for the rooms and the frequency you actually run.

When do you clean the centre?

After the last pickup, so the whole site is empty. Nobody is cleaning around children, and educators walk into a finished room in the morning rather than a room mid clean.

Will it be the same cleaners each time?

We work to an assigned-cleaner model, so wherever possible the same person looks after your centre and gets to know your rooms and routines. That familiarity is what keeps the standard consistent from one visit to the next.

Are your cleaners background checked and insured?

Both. All of our staff are police checked and background verified, and we can provide current clearance certificates for your records. We also hold public liability insurance, which protects both you and your premises in the event of accidental damage during a clean.

What cleaning products do you use?

We bring commercial vacuums, microfibre, all-purpose cleaners, disinfectants and glass cleaner as standard. Centres often have products they are required to use under their own policy. Tell us which at the site visit and we will use yours instead.

How do you keep the standard consistent?

Every room and task is written into a scope of work with a frequency against it, so nothing depends on memory. Management runs regular quality checks and reviews performance, and issues are resolved before they turn into a pattern.

Is there a lock-in contract?

No. There is no long-term lock-in. The Crown Guarantee stands behind the work instead: if something is not up to standard we return and reclean it promptly, or you do not pay.
